NPO法人 東京レインボープライド（共同代表:杉山文野、山田なつみ) は、毎年GWの時期に開催している日本最大級のLGBTQ関連イベント「東京レインボープライド2021」の開催に向けて現在準備をしております。
新型コロナウイルス感染症拡大の影響が続いている中ではありますが、感染症対策を徹底し、ご参加いただく皆さまの健康面・安全を第一に考慮した上で、以下の日程にて開催を予定しておりますので、お知らせいたします。
◆プライドパレード＆プライドフェスティバル：

◆プライドウィーク：
2021年4月24日（土）～2021年5月5日（水）
現在のコロナウイルス感染拡大を受け、TRP2021はオンラインを中心とした内容で開催いたします。安全に参加でき、楽しめるオンラインイベントを鋭意準備しております。
そして、東京レインボープライド2021のテーマが、以下に決定しました。
声をあげる。世界を変える。

LGBTQだけではない。
性を、人種を、思想を超えて、

これまで東京レインボープライドでは、当事者を取り巻く社会が少しでもよい方向へ変わるように、LGBTQの理解を深め、親しみやすい場所になるよう、そして何よりも”誰もが楽しい”と感じるイベントになるようにみんなで試行錯誤をしてきました。しかし、「LGBTQ」「多様性」という言葉は浸透しつつも、誰もが生きやすい社会への実現には、”楽しさ”を追求するだけでは、変えられないものがあることが分かりました。
2020年、私たちの日常は大きく変わりました。誰も経験をしたことがない事態に向き合い、考え、自制し、そして新しいルールに適応しようと努力したと思います。
今回のテーマにもある”ルール”というのは、憲法や法律といった大きな枠組みのものから、日常生活の中で不自由に感じている学校や職場、地域の小さなルールまで様々なものがあります。ルールが変わることで、LGBTQだけではなく、すべての人が生きやすい世界に変わっていくことが、あるべき未来の姿だと思い、今回このテーマに決定いたしました。
開催にあたっては、政府機関・東京都のガイドラインを遵守し、ご参加いただく皆さまの安全を重視した運営を行っていく所存です。

2021年はNPO法人 東京レインボープライドの創立10周年を迎える記念すべき年となります。これからも「らしく、たのしく、ほこらしく」をモットーに、性的指向および性自認にかかわらず、すべての人がより自分らしく誇りをもって、前向きに楽しく生きていくことができるHAPPY!な社会の実現のために、イベントを通して「“性”と“生”の多様性」を祝福し、つながる「場」を提供いたします。

NPO Tokyo Rainbow Pride (Board of Directors: Fumino Sugiyama, Natsumi Yamada) is currently preparing for Japan's largest LGBTQ event, "Tokyo Rainbow Pride 2021", which is held annually during the Golden Week period.
Despite the continued influence of COVID-19, we wish to announce our plans to hold the event on the following schedule, making sure to take thorough measures against infection and placing priority on the health and safety of all participants.

Until now, through trial and error, we have held Tokyo Rainbow Pride for the goal of creating a more inclusive society, to further understanding of LGBTQ matters, to make the world a more friendly place, and above all, create an event which everyone can enjoy together. However, while the terms "LGBTQ" and "diversity" have integrated themselves into our society, it has become clear that, in order to create a society in which everyone can live freely, there are some matters which cannot be solved simply through the holding of a "fun" event.
Our daily lives have changed dramatically in 2020. We have attempted to take on, think about, restrain from, and adapt to this new situation, creating a new set of rules in the process.
These "rules", which can also be found in our theme, range from large frameworks such as the Constitution and the law to small rules for schools, workplaces, and communities that prove inconvenient to our daily lives. By changing these "rules", it would not only create a better world for LGBTQ people but for everyone, which is why we decided upon this theme.
At the time of the event, we will comply with the guidelines of government agencies and the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and will operate with an emphasis on the safety of all participants.

We will provide further information regarding details such as information sessions for companies and volunteer information sessions.
2021 will be a memorable year, as it celebrates the 10th anniversary of the establishment of NPO Tokyo Rainbow Pride. Through our motto of "be true to yourself, joyful, and proud.", we will continue to realise a brighter society in which everyone can live positively and happily, regardless of their sexual orientation and self-identification. Through holding this event, we will celebrate the "diversity of sex and life", and create a location at which everyone can connect together.
